Keto Classic Barbecue Sauce

 Keto Classic Barbecue Sauce is going to knock your socks off. This one is sure to rock anything you put it on. It's thick, rich, and has just enough sweetness to make you swear it's the real deal!

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (I use Braggs)
  • 3 - 4 scoops Pyure Stevia Powder (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Keto Worcestershire sauce (see our recipe)
  • 1-2 tablespoons liquid smoke (less Smokey flavor add just 1 tablespoon or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients except the water into a medium size sauce pan.
  2. Heat on medium-high heat and bring to a boil making sure to stir sauce frequently while heating to mix ingredients well.
  3. Once the sauce is boiling then reduce to low heat and allow the sauce to simmer for about 10 minutes and stir frequently. The sauce will thicken some.
  4. Depending on how thick or thin you like your sauce, make sure to add the water slowly while stirring as to not make it too thin(for me 1/4 cup water makes it perfect).
  5. Remove from heat and allow sauce to completely cool then taste test.
  6. You can add more ingredients to the sauce to suit your taste, spice it up, or sweeten it more and make it your own!
  7. Store left over sauce in a glass bottle or container or your choice.
  8. Once the sauce sits in the fridge over night, the flavors will enhance so keep that in mind when altering the recipe.
